After the Week 26 newsletter that went out yesterday, we received many emails from clients asking about the changes they are noticing in their vision.
So I want to reinforce something important:
Progress does not have to mean perfect vision.
When your vision has been changing for years, it’s natural to focus on what you still cannot see or do.
But when you only look for the BIG change, you can easily overlook the smaller changes happening along the way.
đź’ˇ THE AHA MOMENT
Don’t let what hasn’t changed make you overlook what HAS.
Maybe your vision isn’t where you want it to be yet.
But stop and think about where you started.
Are colors more vibrant?
- Are your floaters lighter or less noticeable?
- Is night vision different?
- Is a dark spot becoming lighter or more translucent?
- Are you reaching for eye lubricant less often?
- Does reading or focusing feel a little easier?
These changes may not mean your vision is perfect.
But perfection is not the only measure of progress.
LOOK FOR PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION.
Instead of only asking:
“Is my vision where I want it to be?”
Ask:
“What is different from where I started?”
That one question can completely change what you notice.
You may still have challenges.
You may still have a long way to go.
But if you are noticing differences from where you started, don’t dismiss them simply because they aren’t the BIG change you’re hoping for.
Small changes matter.
Your vision didn’t decline overnight.
Your starting point is unique to you.
And your biology has its own timeline.
LOOK FOR IT. WRITE IT DOWN. TRACK IT.
